These Terms govern your use of the ImbizoHub app and marketplace ("ImbizoHub", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
ImbizoHub is a marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers, and separately connects customers with independent Transport Operators. ImbizoHub is not a party to any sale or trip arranged through the app. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee the condition of any item listed, and we do not employ or supervise any Transport Operator — they are independent individuals or businesses using our platform to find customers.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into agreements in your jurisdiction to use ImbizoHub.
Anyone with an account can post listings, browse, and message. There is no separate "Buyer" or "Seller" account type — every account can do both.
Buying on a listing is free. Posting a listing, chatting with a seller and arranging a deal through Meet & Pay cost nothing, and ImbizoHub takes no commission on the sale. You pay the seller directly for the item; that payment happens between the two of you, outside the app.
Contact details in chat. Phone numbers and email addresses are held back inside chat until a deal is arranged through the app. This is a safety measure — it keeps a record of the conversation on the platform if something later goes wrong — and not a condition of payment, because there is no fee to buy on a listing.
Meet & Pay is a PIN-based system that lets a buyer and seller confirm in person that a handover has taken place. We do not process, hold, or guarantee any payment made between a buyer and seller — all such payment happens directly between the two parties, entirely outside the app.
Buyers may post what they are looking for; sellers may respond with a price. Posting a Wanted post, and responding to one, are both free.
If a buyer accepts a response, a one-time commission of 5% of the agreed price — a minimum of $1.50 and never more than $15 — is payable by the buyer, and unlocks a private chat with that seller. The seller keeps 100% of their quoted price. This commission is non-refundable.
Transport Operators are independent contractors, not ImbizoHub employees, and are solely responsible for holding any licences, insurance and permits required by law for the service they provide — whether they are carrying goods, passengers, or both. A one-time registration fee applies to become a Transport Operator, valid for 12 months.
When a customer accepts a quote, they pay a one-time commitment fee of 7% of the quoted price, capped at $15 — this is ImbizoHub's entire commission on the transaction. The operator keeps 100% of their quoted price, which the customer pays them directly, in cash or another method they agree between themselves, entirely outside the app.
We do not provide transport services and are not responsible for the safety, conduct, or condition of any vehicle or driver. Customers use transport arranged through the app entirely at their own risk. We strongly encourage customers to take common-sense safety precautions — such as sharing trip details with someone they trust — when meeting any operator in person.
Book & Deliver is not currently offered. New delivery bookings and new delivery-operator registrations are closed. Any booking already in progress continues under the terms that applied when it was made. These Terms will be updated before the feature reopens.
Verified Seller status and Dealer Pro are optional paid features that grant certain visual badges and placement benefits. They do not constitute a guarantee, endorsement, or background check by ImbizoHub of any seller's identity, honesty, or the quality of their goods.
Neither is currently available. Both are expected to open in February 2027. Until then they cannot be purchased, no charge is made for them, and nothing in this section creates an obligation on us to offer them by any particular date.
Until 31 January 2027, the commissions described in sections 5 and 6 are free for everyone. Buying on a listing is free permanently and is not part of this promotion. We will give notice in the app before any promotional fee begins to be charged.
We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe poses a risk to other users, at our discretion. Fees already paid are non-refundable in the event of a suspension resulting from a violation of these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ImbizoHub is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or dispute arising from a transaction or trip arranged through the app. Our total liability to any user for any claim is limited to the fees that user paid to us in the three months before the claim arose.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
